With the cart centered between bow and stern, the kayak's weight is perfectly balanced so that rolling it along is effortless.The wheels are inflatable, but they feel like they will work and durable even if punctured. The tires are thick enough to go over rocks and gravel and are not the best, but are usable, in sand. The frame is compact enough that it sits in your backseat or can be strapped to the kayak, if we like.
